Our Mission

The Georgia Adult Education Association contributes to the field of education and training, to the professional development of adult/continuing educators, and to the lifelong learning of the citizens of Georgia through programming, collaboration, communication, advocacy and research.

 

Vision

Our vision is of an association made up of public and private universities, colleges and technical institutes, libraries, departments of state government, business and industry, professional associations/organizations and any other group or individual involved in the continuing education and training of Georgia citizens. We envision a professional association that will promote, develop, and interpret adult/continuing education and training in Georgia. The association will facilitate communication and interaction among groups and individuals engaged in the field of adult/continuing education and training. The association will foster the coordination of existing resources and services and work to establish new resources and services in order to better meet the adult/continuing education and training needs of Georgia citizens.
